Director · Immigration, Family, Employment & Estates
My practice covers immigration, family law (including relationship property and custody issues), employment, and estate planning through trusts and wills.
I am particularly known for my work in complex immigration and citizenship matters — whether that is regularising unlawful status, handling all types of appeals to the Immigration and Protection Tribunal, or seeking special directions from the Minister of Immigration. During the past decade, every appeal I have lodged with the Tribunal has succeeded. My legal opinions have also been accepted by courts in criminal proceedings, which speaks to the thoroughness and care I bring to my work.
Beyond immigration, I help clients navigate employment disputes, plan their estates with robust trusts and wills, and resolve family property matters with sensitivity. I am a problem-solver at heart, up to the challenges of complex cases — including those with cross-border dimensions — and I take the time to understand each client's unique circumstances so I can find practical, fair solutions.
I hold a Bachelor of Laws with Honours (Second Class Honours, First Division) from the University of Waikato, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies, Political Science and International Relations. That combination gives me not only legal rigour but also a broader lens through which to appreciate the human stories behind every case.
What matters most to me is being there when my clients need a helping hand. I know that reaching out to a lawyer can feel daunting, so I aim to make that step as reassuring as possible — listening carefully, explaining plainly, and advocating with determination on your behalf. If you are looking for someone who genuinely cares and has the expertise to back it up, I would be honoured to help.
